Other than gas mileage, is their any negative running the truck in this mode all of the time. Does anyone know what the mileage difference is?

Mine is always on and has been since I bought the truck at 100k miles. I prefer the higher shift points.
Milage: when I'm out of gas I fill up. No point in watching the milage as I figure the truck gets as much as it can driven reasonably with my right foot.
I've never turn mine on and get 12-13 town and 15-16 on highway at 75+mph. I'm going to Vegas this weekend (500miles each way). Ill do an experiment and leave it off on the way there and on on the way back. I assume mileage differences, if any would come more from cit than highway driving, but it's worth a shot.
2000UZJ - Pedal to the metal all the time. That is me as well, you just said it better. I still get 11 to 12 around town. Did you adjust for 33s?
... it really doesn't make much of a difference on the flats unless I'm driving aggressively.
wait...what? Why are so many 100 series guys coming to vegas?
Btw, fuel mileage experiment wont work...there's more downhill coming this way and more uphill going back.
