okay i am looking to level out the landcruiser. in measuring the front and rear there is a 1" difference.

i have installed 4" bds springs, and it looks like someone already installed a longer rear shackle and the front one is stock.
i think this was done when the 350 was installed, that is what the PO told me.
anyway my question is what length shackle would i need in the front to even it out.

i measured them a while ago but forgot, i will have to re-measure them and post.

in doing some reading i see the stock lenght shackle is 2 3/4" center to center so i guees if i got one that was 4 1/4" center to center that would get me closer to being even...

Be careful with extended shackles on the front - they will reduce the caster angle, and you will probably find the steering will "wander", possibly to a dangerous extent. Also - if you plan on any serious off-road work, the longer shackles will reduce the approach angle and will take a beating as the first part of the truck to hit any obstacle, possibly causing a broken spring if you hit something hard enough. Better to shorten the rear shackles to level the truck...

X2!

Longer shackles on the front will act pushing further the ends of the chassis with a stronger crowbar and it may crack chassis ends.
