explain the smoke (1 Viewer)

Sorry, the rig was not readily available till now, To answer some questions , it is a 2f engine I believe a 78-79, it[ does not smoke at all other than on an incline , not even at start. The pcv is not at the top of valve cover and i believe it is on pass side below head, I will today replace pcv and start there . I dont have a compression tester but will get one and check that..heres a pict of motor

Just like in a 60, the pcv leads into the intake. If it doesn't smoke at any other time then its probably not the valve seals. Hopefully the pcv fixes it!

borrow a compression tester...i believe you can rent on at your nearest kragen or autozone...
