While browsing Facebook today a photo of Nishantha De Costa's beautiful Troopy made it into my feed. I'm curious about the two things I've marked in this photo. Are they fold-down steps for accessing the roof rack? If so who makes these things and where can I find them?

Interesting, I have a troopy as well and was wondering if anyone has done this but am hesitant on drilling holes on my side????

I put them on the back of my M37 Military truck, but for the life of me, can't remember where I got them. Mine are bolted to the thick bumpers.

if you google any fire service manufacturer that builds fire trucks you can get them there

Also, did you try SOR? they have them, page 257 of their catalog-fold down steps, $16 each

Awesome. ...that will cost ya a cold one...lol...let me know if they do the job?

Search for "folding foot grab step". They are readily available from truck/trailer parts houses, as well as Amazon (for less than $10).

Make sure you back them up with some decent steel. They'll rip right out of just sheetmetal
