Truck: 1997 Toyota Landcruiser
Mileage: 115,000-ish
Location: Austin, TX

This truck is a 1997 Toyota Landcruiser FZJ 80 with factory front and rear locking differentials. The standard package on the 1997 FZJ 80 Landcruiser includes ABS brakes, tinted glass, intermittent wipers front and rear, cruiser control, power windows/locks, auto off headlamps & rear defrost.

The options that are included on this truck are: leather seating, power titl/sliding moonroof, aluminum wheels, front/rear locking differentials, VIP security system and lastly, floor mats.

All of the parts & maintenance that are listed below have been completed in the last year or less. The cooling, brake and air conditioning work was all completed in April.

As you can see, there were no shortcuts taken and no expense spared when building up this truck as a very competent expedition and wheeling truck. The body is straight as an arrow and there is no rust.

It has been offroad only a handful of times.

I am looking to sell the truck outright or trade for a FJ Cruiser, Highlander or 2003+ 100 series. Cash can be exchanged either way, I am open to options. I am not looking for something on anything over 33's.

bump - photo gallery coming later today or tomorrow...

I'm planning on getting a 60 series but this is an awesome looking rig. Is it still for sale and are you asking the same price? It would also be hard since I live in Oregon but very tempting.

it is still for sale. price is negotiable if we sell the spare wheels and tires separately. PM me if you want to talk. i went from a 60/62 series to this truck. night and day.

The stering wheel looks like 212000 miles. What is up with that? Has the car been hit? There seems to be rust on seems? Salt water? I have a 100 exellent shape yr 2000. 124,000. Want to trade + cash?

Thanks, Harold 970-946-2118 Cell

FWIW when I bought my '97 with 90k my steering wheel looked worse than that and my rig was professionally detailed every couple months at the dealership and completely babied (PO was the general service manager). I think that the wheels on these years were just crap plain and simple.

I LOVE the rest of the rig though! :D

I've ridden in this truck.....no lies......no expense has been spared. This is a solid one of a kind 80. Bump for a great truck.

PS-get your motorcycle Pete so we can ride.

steering wheel is beat, no doubt. ordering wheel skins for it next paycheck. salt water? never. salt on the snowy roads? some. bad rust? none at all. car has not been hit unless PO lied to me but i doubt that, great stand up cruiser guy.

i appreciate the offer i will look into that year 100 and see if its for me - do you have any pics?
