Truck: 1997 Toyota Landcruiser
Mileage: 115,000-ish
Location: Austin, TX

This truck is a 1997 Toyota Landcruiser FZJ 80 with factory front and rear locking differentials. The standard package on the 1997 FZJ 80 Landcruiser includes ABS brakes, tinted glass, intermittent wipers front and rear, cruiser control, power windows/locks, auto off headlamps & rear defrost.

The options that are included on this truck are: leather seating, power titl/sliding moonroof, aluminum wheels, front/rear locking differentials, VIP security system and lastly, floor mats.

All of the parts & maintenance that are listed below have been completed in the last year or less. The cooling, brake and air conditioning work was all completed in April.

As you can see, there were no shortcuts taken and no expense spared when building up this truck as a very competent expedition and wheeling truck. The body is straight as an arrow and there is no rust.

It has been offroad only a handful of times.

I am looking to sell the truck outright or trade for a FJ Cruiser, Highlander or 2003+ 100 series. Cash can be exchanged either way, I am open to options. I am not looking for something on anything over 33's.

it will go on ebay when i get back from vacation in mid sept and have the time.

This is a great low milage rig. I have more money into mine and it does not have all that this fine LC does. You can buy a cheeper one for under 10k but you will spend 15K to get it to where this LC is. Not to mention all the time.

This is a great deal and I hope you get your asking price.

Just my 2 cents.

Bump for, get this - a Highlander or a 100 series? Anyone?

i have a 100 series i would throw in for a trade and $$. 98 with factory rear and center locker.....mileage is 157K, but it has been well taken care of and runs great - all synthetic fluids. The CEL just came on for the O2 sensor and i will be changing it. "New" 295/75, new starter, new battery, has had all the regular tune ups and maintenance, Ipod/sat radio/dvd ready - i installed a box that allows the systems to go through the factory speakers...what else what else....

interested?

oh, it's green

Sooooooooooooo tempting but I am really looking for something with lower miles so that the next repair isnt a big ticket item. I know there is no way to plan for such a thing but this is going to mostly be the :princess:'s rig and she wants something smaller and easier to deal with in parking garages etc...

me? i am going to get a motorcycle.

Beautiful 80,

Can you post pics of the interior?

thanks

thanks but i need something with lower miles. the :princess: demands it.

want to PM me your email? i can send them to you. i am at work right now and cant resize them until tonight...

PM and email sent. let me know if you want to see anything more. I am traveling this week for work but will be home this weekend and can take more pics then.

she does know this IS a land cruiser and will last forever.......lol

i just put so much in maint and PM into this thing that i dont want to do that again, that is for sure.

Bump for nice rig.

Be sure to also list this on craiglist in your area.

Of all the services I've tried, I got the most leads from craigslist. Autotrader was very little help. Ebay was ok, but these days, it's mostly low ballers (definitely don't do a listing without a reserve).

X2 on craigslist!!
It was like a 20-1 ratio of calls between MUD and CL
Mine sold fast, but it was a lot more basic than yours.

Your rig has always been one of my favorites in this site.
I seriously considered it when 82Cruiser was selling it.

Good luck on the sale
