Hi;

Anyone got some feedback on this version?
Side sleeper, prefer very soft ultra plush mattresses

Best sleeping pad I've ever bought. Used to rough it with Big Agnes lightweight pads and some other outdoor brands, can't remember the names.

When I had an Opus trailer a few years ago I was looking for replacement mattresses as the OEM sucked. Exped had great reviews so I bought two of the Megamat Max Duo 15 pads and I was blown away at how comfortable they are. Slept just as well in the trailer as I did at home. I also bought a standard Megamat for ground tent camping and it's been just as comfortable.

I'm a side sleeper as well, weigh about 165 lbs if that matters, and I've been able to fine tune the inflation to the right point where it still holds me up off the ground but I sink in enough that it feels like a soft mattress.

Thats great to hear. I am looking for the MAX version. In Queen size. They are $550 or so.....

I have this one in my Camp KIng RTT. It fits almost perfectly, just a bit short on the length, but that's ok because it gives you a little space for some storage.

After about three years the weld (seams) separated. After a little back and forth emails with Exped they sent me a new one. That five year warranty was nice.

I couldn't agree more. I have a single and a duo. I've heard the Hest mats are great too but you can't tune the firmness which may allow some people to bottom out, especially if you're on your side. The only downside is that my setup requires me to inflate/deflate them every time but I've recently found that ExPed makes a pump/deflator to speed up the process.
