Thats great to hear. I am looking for the MAX version. In Queen size. They are $550 or so.....Best sleeping pad I've ever bought. Used to rough it with Big Agnes lightweight pads and some other outdoor brands, can't remember the names.
When I had an Opus trailer a few years ago I was looking for replacement mattresses as the OEM sucked. Exped had great reviews so I bought two of the Megamat Max Duo 15 pads and I was blown away at how comfortable they are. Slept just as well in the trailer as I did at home. I also bought a standard Megamat for ground tent camping and it's been just as comfortable.
I'm a side sleeper as well, weigh about 165 lbs if that matters, and I've been able to fine tune the inflation to the right point where it still holds me up off the ground but I sink in enough that it feels like a soft mattress.
