Exhaust pipe diameter

Ordered some new cats for my 62. Being in ca I went based on the magnaflow catalog. I didn't pay attention to the inlet/outlet sizes(2.25"). When I got them noticed the size difference between the inlet/outlet and my exhaust (mine are 1.75"). What is the factory size on the exhaust from the exhaust manifold back?

2.25" is stock.

fj62s have a metric sized pipe from manifold to Y at the cats that is just a hair smaller than 1.75". I used 1 3/4" pipes for my fj62 manifolds and it is just about perfect, a teeny weeny bit bigger(.0something of an inch) bigger than the stock down pipes. the 2F had the 2.25" pipe...HTH

Haven't talked to an exhaust shop yet... wondering if I should return these cats and get some with w/ smaller inlets. Any thoughts
