Muffler was grinding against drive trains. Replaced the broken exhaust mount right under the back bench seat. And it doesn’t seem to be line up. It was a pain to get it attached but there is still grinding against the muffler, especially when turning left.

Any ideas why the exhaust mount is not lining up correctly? I think if I can fix that problem it will stop the grinding.

Just a thought. Is it possible someone backed up into a rock or other low obstruction pushing the tailpipe? Something is bent.

Do you think I could just use some bailing wire to force it to line up correctly?
It probably broke because of the bind it was in. I would check the rest of them and make sure they are all aligned

you could also loosen up the other mounts and pipe joilts to allow a little more flex in the exhaust system, get every thing lined up and then tighten it all down.

usually if its that far off something is bent

Mine was like this as well, but not quite as severe. I am going to crawl under there again this weekend and start looking for options.... anyone else who's remedied this, please chime in!

So I found that the mount in the back is really misaligned by about 3-4 inches. But even if I can replace this one. There’s still going to be a ton tension.
