I just wanted to share a great experience I had dealing with Carolina Driveline in purchasing a front driveshaft for my LX450. After lifting my rig I was experiencing the dreaded vibration and occasional grinding sound which I narrowed down to the front DS. After looking on here for suggestions to find a place purchase one, I saw 2 options: Tatton's and Tom Wood's. I hesitated to go with these options for 1 reason, "What if something is wrong with it?". I would have to wait and be out of a vehicle until the DS goes there and back. With the help of Google I found out that I have a place local that builds, services, and sells these units. I called and spoke to Steven and the turn around time was 1-2 days! I gave him my measurements and it was actually done in 1 day. The price was inline with Tatton's and Tom Wood's plus they are local and if I ever have an issue I can get it resolved fairly quickly. Very happy with my experience and I found out that they also ship if you are out if you are not local.

Here's some pictures and their contact information if you are interested in one.

Alignment arrows!!! What a novel idea!

You can drive just fine without the front drive shaft installed. Mine's been out for a while now. Just lock the center diff and go.

Used their prop shaft on a WJ Jeep and would not hesitate to use them again if needed for the FZJ. Bought when I lived in GA, but now live 15 minutes from them and offered to take my LX over so they could get measurements into their cataloge.

How much lift did you do on your rig?

I'll second the thumbs up for Carolina Drive Line. I use them on every swap, custom shafts front and rear.
