And the last two bits 1/4 glass rubbers from Cruiser Parts USA and the heater tap from Japan.
Now i can assemble the frount doors.

Been doing a bit more on army. Got the frount doors compleat with the new rubbers and mirrors. Also painted the frount blinkers and got the bonnet catches on.
When i was finishing the windscreen frame off the wipers stoped working. After a bit of a look i found the wiper motor relies on the earth through the windscreen frame hinges. I fixed the problem by running a earth wire from the wiper motor to the earth bolt behind the glove box.
I also built the rear panel the army fitted seeing mine was missing.
Also fitted the rear tail lights and blackout tail lights.
I have to find one airlift hook yet
The next jobs is to paint the rear panel and make the roof bows .

Really nice mate. Love that you found D^D camouflage canvas. My old man had the same pattern on his ex-Army Landrover [oh the shame..]

He made up for it with a BJ40 and a HZJ75 though.

Now you have the rear handbrake, you can go down the H55 path?

Getting close now mate the camo came out well but would love a side shot of the whole truck to see the
camo pattern.

When i rebuilt the rear diff i had those backing plates with the h/break in so i put them on just incase. I have a h55 but i will leave the 4 speed in for a wile.see how it goes
:hhmm:

And the right side.

After a copple of stubies you greb the spraygun and the picture and this is the result. It has the rollbar back in and i have the pipe to make the soft top hood bows and also have a loan of a genuine camo canvas top to copy.

Nice mate! Stubbies always help when painting camo.

Way to go aussie as the truck looks like it can do another 30 years of service blending into the bush.
Cheers

Thanks for the commenets .
Been hard at work today making the hood bows. Not to hard as i have had a bit of practice on a pipe bender. They are made out of 3/4 gal pipe 2mm wall thickness. Even the rear one came out ok made out of one length of pipe.
Also a sneak look with the camo canvs .
