Engine wiring harness ?

Is the Engine wiring harness the same from a 1989 fj-62 to a 1992 Fj-80. I was told that they are the same, but I am thinking that they are different. Anyone know for sure? I could see similarities in the engine components, both being 3FE's, but I think the interior part of the harness and computer would be different. Thanks

The harnesses are not identical and as such determining interchangeability is a matter of try it and see what happens.

With the prices people want on the harness, I am not going to take a gamble and get a harness that possibly will not work. I will keep searching for a 92 harness. Thanks
