Hi Gang..
I have been following this forum for a while and find it very interesting.. lots of people with great ideas and knowledge about Land Cruisers.
I Have a 2004 LC with 105K miles, I am the original owner. I replaced the timing belt at 95K, I also replaced all the bearings, seals and the tensioner as well as the water pump. All with OEM parts. I also replaced the serpertine belt pulleys and the fan base. these were not OEM.
I now have a vibration more noticeable after 3Krpm it is the engine as is more rpm related indedently of gear or neutral.
the vibration is not constant, I think it comes only when the fan clutch engages. Last weekend I installed a new fan clutch (OEM) and checked that fan blades were OK.
I am suspecting that the aftermarket fan base might be the culprit but would like to see if any of you has experienced something like this and your ideas before disassembling once more..
thanks for you ideas.

you wont believe this, but i found the problem.. the hard way. While driving back from work today.. the alternator light came off and the steering wheel became hard... the shaft that holds the fanclutch in place came off the base frame... then the fan hit the radiator ... now I need a new fan base, radiator and belt... guys never buy aftermarket cheap parts.. go OEM... I did it because when changing the timing belt noticed the old base bearing has leaking some grease and my local toyota dealer did not have the part on stock..
