Engine Rebuild in NJ Area??? (1 Viewer)

Anybody know of a engine rebuild shop in NJ (preferably Central, NJ) who has experience with rebuilding a 2 engine? If I can't find a decent 2F locally I want someone who is going to do the job right instead of a generic machine shop. Thanks

I used to work for a shop in High Bridge, NJ called The Motor Shop. While he doesn't know 2F motors specifically he is very skilled at what he does. We did quite a few odd ball European sports car motors along with a few Flathead Fords. Of direct interest to you would be the early Chevy I6 we built that was the basis for the Toyota I6.

If I needed a motor built I would pull it and drive it from IN to NJ to have him do it.

I don't have his contact info but he does have an Ebay store. He's located in the back of Rocky's Rod Shop on 513 a couple miles east of 31.

there is a shop in Montclair..think its called Metro Land Cruisers.
Never been there but you might want to try him.
Sorry dont have any other info on the place. Someone here prolly does.
