You are close. I usually explore south of the CO border in Carson/Pecos (closest range from Tulsa), I’m sure you would have some great input on the Cristos.

I've only been out there thrice. I haven't lived here long. I moved from Portland, OR.

Yes - Leave in the afternoon on the 27th. I take 412 straight across and usually stay in Guymon,ok (No mans land) for the night at the Corral Drive in RV park and should be to Cimarron between 10-11am on the 28th to fuel up to hit the trails.
