I figured I’d throw out a PSA about MY20. If you are needing one now, probably the time to get it. And I would suggest: tomorrow. I can’t help unfortunately because I’m 100% sold out of Cruisers and selling into my MY21s in the fall/winter right now. I’ve been trying to locate for many of you but its just near impossible at this point. That window died about three weeks ago. Everyday the inventory is getting sucked up and nothing to replace them with. I mentioned in a previous thread, only 30 LC200s getting imported into the entire US for June & July allocations (vs the typical 300/mo = 600 for June/July). MY21 will be Identical with exception of possible 3rd row Heritage Edition (No CarPlay / no new colors).

Production for MY21 starts around Aug 8th and gets to the coasts about 30-40 days later. About two months later for middle of the country (me). Heritage a little longer because they modify the Heritage at port (Roof basket, wheels, maybe more I don’t know exactly).

This is terrible news to anyone who needs a new one right now since prices are going up and selection is going down.

Production will ramp back up to 300+/Mo in August and hold similar numbers per month moving forward throughout the rest of the MY21 calendar year. The 200 market should restablize in fall/winter unless 300-series announcements happen, but those comments are more appropriate for previous threads.

Going to be an interesting 200 series finale!

My wife was giving me grief last night for all the mod$ and time Ive recently spent on my LC. I thought I would just send her a link to one of Eric’s new builds and tell her I should have just bought one of those instead :)

Went to Ed Martin site last night and was shocked there was only 1 stock LC in inventory. Guess it’s gone and makes sense based on what Eric posted above.

There is a heritage edition sitting on the lot at Beechmont Toyota in Cincinnati. Drove by it yesterday. Only one I’ve seen around here.

It’s sad 200-row is empty.

Eric - wanted to say thank you, your other thread about the soon to be short supply of 200’s convinced us to close the deal on one that we were looking at. Ironically we had our eye on one at your dealership that sold a few days before we bought ours. I have been noticing a lot of the cars we were watching have since sold. So if it weren’t for you, I don’t think we would have done as well as we did on the deal.

Confirmed: Third row is an option and Silver and Grey are available in Heritage for MY2021.

2021 Toyota Land Cruiser
Leading the newly announced changes for this model year is the 2021 Land Cruiser. While the standard model doesn't see any changes, the Heritage Edition introduced last year does. It was initially only offered with two rows of seats and two colors: black or white. This year, a three-row variant will be available. Toyota has also added Classic Silver and Magnetic Gray as paint colors. The Land Cruiser's base price has increased by $100 to $86,840. Pricing for the three-row Heritage Edition hasn't been announced, but will be available closer to when it goes into production in September.

2021 LC200 has already landed in Qatar.
We got an updated front grille, restyled front body kit, black wheel accents and a new interior color (lighter shade than the current brown terra interior - which is also still available.)
Pictured below is the GXR grade which is positioned below the 5.7 VXR.
*The new interior color is currently available only on the GXR grand touring.

Same wheels as the ones we got last year but the accents are now black instead of dark grey.
Incase you're wondering, that's a super white 200 pictured below, its the most common LC200 color in Qatar and is preferred over 070 blizzard pearl.

I wish the plant could throw a set of those seats in mine while it’s in production!

So what does a Land Cruiser cost in the rest of the world ?

In Qatar the dealership list price (before discount) for MY2021 ranges from $55k USD for the most basic manual transmission barn door base 4.0 V6 GX all the way to $101k USD for the fully loaded 5.7 V8 VX.R with AHC.
We also get lots of different trim levels that slot inbetween (including the 4.5 v8 twin turbo diesel and 4.6 v8).
The 200 series Land Cruiser and LX 570 are the best selling vehicles in Qatar.

love the diamond stitch pattern and the shade of the new brown in the new pics. very much akin to the london tan color and pattern from Jag, at least the way it looks like in the pics. Wonder if they will offer that pattern here in the US for the 3 row heritage?? I am waiting for the build option to pop up on toyota's website.

I wish Toyota would give us a manual transmission option

The fully loaded VX.R has a striped pattern.
We also still get cloth seats as an option.
The different seat patterns are not new to us and have already been available in our market for a few years, but I thought you might be interested to see the differences.
