Where is the Emission Control Computer on my 60? Do these go bad and are they spendy to replace?
Background: I've been chasing EGR symptoms for too long now (bucking under acceleration). My EGR, Modulator, and VSV for the EGR system all check out OK per the FSM. But my rig still bucks unless I bypass the EGR. One test I do fail is at the bottom of page 3-16 in the FSM. If I increase RPM to over 1,500 and blow into port F, I don't get air from port E. Could this indicate faulty Emission Control Computer? Would it cause bucking?
What say ye Cruiser sages?
Thanks,
Butt
P.S. Non-tech: Seems like I've been averaging about $50/month in Cruiser cash and maybe two hrs/month wrench time. Progress is SLOW.
