my choke knob pulls out really easy now and it feels like its broken...and ive already found out that it is broken right behind the knob...im wondering if i have to buy a new choke cable or just reconnect it...

Take off the top section of the air cleaner and watch for movement of the choke in the carb to verify whether it's working or not. The easiest way to fix it is to get a whole choke assembly new or from someone parting a cruiser. It just take a few minutes to change.

well ive already looked and i can see it not moving from under the hood so its on the knobby side and not the carb side...

Mine broke in the same place. Couldn't figure an easy way to re-attach, so purchased a new one. Easy install.
