Hey team,

This has got me a bit boxed.
Removed alternator yesterday (and battery for access) to test fit a high output unit.

Didn't fit and needs some dimensional tweaks so put old alt back in this afternoon, reinstalled battery and engine starts and runs, charge light illuminates with ignition on and engine not running and goes off when engine started (alt is giving 14.41 volts across the battery engine running) however have not got:
HVAC blower, indicators, any dash lights (CEL etc), power windows, wipers or reversing lights. For some reason ignition was left in on position when the battery was reconnected.

Interior dome light works but not in the 'door' position, hazard lights work, headlights and tail lights work, dash backlighting works including dimmer, Radio works, cigarette lighter seems to have power.

Replaced fusible link with new one, no change. Have inspected all fuses, replaced ones that seemed relevant such as haz/horn, dome, CDS/Fan in the engine bay and tail, stop, wiper, gauge and ECU-IG in the drivers panel.
My multimeter has decided to die, does anyone have any suggestions before I burn this thing to the ground and take the daily driver out tomorrow instead of the 80?

If it's of any significance, the PO tapped into the blue wire (which if I can read correctly is 12V) going to the wiper motor and ran it to a relay which I had thought was power feed for some unknown reason. I also cut this out and binned it, I don't know if this could be any connection
