My 1994 FZJ 80 has just aqurired an electrical problem. All my warning lights came on, oil. trans temp, alternator light, etc..

The battery is not charging and I am wondering if it may be something different than the alternator. All the fuses appear to be good.

Any ideas would be great.

You seem to have narrowed it down to the charging system...

What does "appear to be good" mean? Fuses are either good or bad and need to be checked with a meter and not eyeballs.

In any case this is typical of a failed alternator. It COULD be a fusible link off the positive terminal of the battery, COULD be a bad ground, but most likely is a failed alternator.
