My electric door locks unlock but do not lock. Found the problem and it is the only problem. Broken wire on driver door wire harness. I have the wire harness inside my house and would like to do a quality repair. Feel like making connection where wire broke is bad idea (inside rubber boot between door and cab). Think I need to solder new wire to harness in 1 or 2 places. As 1 connection is better than 2.....
Can anyone identify these electrical connectors? End goal is ordering pins, so as to re pin a new wire. Spend more than 4hrs searching so figured I should ask for help. I'm still running internet searches.
Photos attached. Is the answer under my nose? If I can't figure out will just cut and splice in new section with 2 solder joints. Please save me from this.
