My truck had a problem inside the fuse box. I was in the countryside and was able to drive it home without towing it.

now it turns on but the engine shuts off. probably the diesel pump is not getting current.

does anyone have the wiring diagram for ln106? does anyone know which one is that burned red wire in the bottom left corner of the picture, according to the wiring diagram?

LN65 owner here and I used this EWD as it is a generic diagram for all Pickups MY85-88?

Im not familiar with LN106 but if it same as my 2L system the fuel cut solenoid shouldn't cause intermittent running issue, either the engine runs with 12v at fuel pump solenoid or 0V immideatly stops. If the engine is running briefly you probably have 12v there or it wouldnt even fire up.

omg, this will really helpful if i ever understand it.

i am repairing my second hand ln106, but my dad is the single owner of a 86 ln65. his truck has even bigger electrical issues.
i will use this to try and repair it.

thanks a lot

If it is running, the the pump is getting current. Have you checked the diesel filter?

remove that burnet wire and try to start the engine. It it stars then that wire has nothing to do with the starting process. Looks like there is a lot of aftermarket wiring, spices etc.,

Check the wiring harness on rubbing spots to the engine and frame.
