The AC is through an electric compressor on some 100s?

huh? no its a normal compressor like on your typical car/cruiser/truck

I had also assumed, but there's someone with a 2000 UZJ100 who SWEARS they have electric AC (truck was not present to inspect). Also says they have plastic fender flares, Lexus style molding, etc.

Was curious.

mine has a normal belt driven one...

like a home window AC, that runs off 110v? nope.....it would take a hell of a big alt and inverter to run that.

He may be confusing it with the electric powered brake booster (compressor?) which is pretty unique.
