I'm looking for a mechanic in the El Paso area. I've got a '76 fj40 with 2f engine and two blown cylinders. when i took it in to the original mechanic they said that it would be cheaper to put a whole new engine in than to try to refurbish the 2f. I had originally planned to replace it with a 350 with my cousin but that fell apart when i went back up to school and he got swamped at work. I don't have the knowledge or tools to do a swap on my own or to rebuild the engine. I need to get it running soon or else my parents are just going to sell it. So, in short I'm asking if anyone knows a good mechanic in El Paso to get my baby running.
