K, been forever since I've posted. 3 kids in less than 4 years will do that to u! Time for front and rear pads and rotors on the LX. Worth the money for the EBC 6000 pads and drilled and slotted rotors? Maybe the stop tech slee kit? Thoughts?? Discuss....

IMHO if I didn't have over size tires (35"er's) I probably wouldn't bother. I've never had a problem stopping either my or my wife's hundy in over 12 years of ownership before the larger tires. Even with the 35" tires my rig still stops very well, but I may upgrade when the time comes. It's just that I'm so darn easy on my brakes, I don't go through them that much.
If you do go with better disks and pads, might as well add the steel braided brake lines too. I will help give a wee more responsive peddle feel.

I just replaced my brake pads and rotors with OEM gear. The thing stops extremely well, i am very impressed with the brakes. I still need to order some speed bleeders and replace the brake fluid.

If you plan to wheel it i'd stay away from drilled rotors. If on the street most of the time, then you might see a little improvement.

I've run different combos of OEM, Brembo OEM equivalent and NAPA brand stuff. All seem to work fine and don't break the bank:meh:

I installed the slee kit of powerstop rotors and pads recently. Holy balls, great upgrade to the brakes. That is all.
