Have anyone use this electric locker in a 70 series? Any information?

I have a Harrop/Eaton E-Locker in the front of my HZJ78 troopy.

Plan to get one in the rear for this coming Aussie winter, before putting different axles under it after winter.

There was some discussion, where I posted some pics of my front E-Locker install, here...

I have not used it a great deal, and have not had any previous experience with lockers, but it seems to work well.

Harrop are in the process of developing E-Locker models in conjunction with Eaton, for local Aussie trucks.

You might want to contact them to see if a model is being developed for your particular truck, if not already listed on their website...

Good to know someone is breaking the ARB /TJM stranglehold on selectable lockers.
What kind of money we looking at? :grinpimp:

EDIT I found the price ,$1695 for the kit inc wiring loom which is comparable to air lockers.I like the idea of electromagnetic switching especially in the nice dry climate I live in:hmm:

Has what is like an air con compressor clutch, which locks a collar, making it slide over the pins, pushing them in to engage the locker.

I wonder if they have or are in the process of developing a e locker for semi-floating axles ...
