Up for sale is a rough, but in my opinion, definitely worth saving, FJ60. Needs work to get driving so it'll need a tow. Purchased not running, I deleted most of the smog/emissions plumbing, replaced the carburetor with a non-US model and fuel pump, and got it to a point where it'll fire up, but needs tuning to idle off of choke. Brake line blew out when I tried to drive it so that'll need a fix as well to get it on the road. Compression is 130-140 in all cylinders, but it does smoke on warmup, so a valve job might be in it's future. (I did add some seafoam to about 5gal of gas in the tank so it's entirely, entirely, possible it's just burning that off.) Body panels are rusty and dented, but the frame is in real good shape. Have a bunch of stuff to go with it including two (blue) passenger doors, a repainted tail gate, the old carb, a new set of wires, coil, distributor cap, and shocks. It's real rough, don't get me wrong, but worth saving. There's a lien on the current title, but I have a notarized lien release from the bank in question that'll get you a free and clear title. Would do it myself but NYSDMV was saying to expect 60-90 days for a new title, and I can't wait that long. Looking for $3000 obo, but, full disclosure, I'm moving next week and don't particularly want to go through hauling and storing it at my inlaws, so I'm more open to a quick deal if it gets it gone.
