Just felt the whole house moving while surfing MUD - right after watching Bourne Ultimatum.
Desk and the French doors in the computer room moving...wow and scary with the kids sleeping upstairs.

Anybody awake that felt the shakes too?

Yep thats a quake!

Per preliminary report:
"A light earthquake occurred at 0:58:49 AM (PDT) on Thursday, August 9, 2007.
The magnitude 4.5 event occurred 7 km (4 miles) NNW of Chatsworth, CA.

Still surfing MUD after that!
Were basically getting our stuff together just in case! Land Cruiser outside and ready to roll.

Im hearing some sirens outside - cardiac cardiac! or I fell and cant get up! :D

Take care Shah.

You too, dude.

Damn, 2:31 and I'm still wide awake...

Damn.. I slept through another one! These things gotta start happening while I am awake. I am in downtown LA now, don't know if I should have felt somthing.

i was in woodland hills it woke me up fast, After i moved my truck out side it was back to sleep!!!

I finally got to bed about 04:00.

Had a handful of earthquake-related nightmares.

My 1.75 year old kid demanded oatmeal and 'nanas at 08:00.

"Beffast dada! DADA!!! BEFFAST! 'UNGY!"

My wife is still asleep. She asked if I could get up and take care of him because she is "sooooo tiiiiired."

I wish I could kick her in the balls.

I don't wake up to anythng under 5.5 anymore...

what the hell - both of you were up in the range of 2 am surfing mud. I have my MUD needs like the rest of us but damn. Jeez..I would at least figure you were on spankwire.com at that hour:D

Shhhhhh...The sound of silence...the sound of silence fellow MUDder. Dont wake up the rugrats.

bwahahahahah!
Dont laugh too hard Dave - marriage and kids are on the horizon...

Spankwire? Meh - upkeep of the 80 is masturbation in itself to some. :D
Anyways, Im still trying to follow the "Will my 80 fit thru the Squeeze?" thread.

Slept through it too. After living my entire life in So Cal and working during the Northridge Quake I have to agree that a 4.5 is no big deal.

F$%*.. Had the LX on the lift yesterday (last nite) I was doing slow Fr and Rr brake pads, flush entire brake fluids and rotate the tires.

Thank God that nothing happened

Now if I had my beloved 80 on a lift it would scare the s#!t out of me. Especially if it had wheels and tires that total the entire investment I have in mine. :flipoff2: Now if I were under it, I would run screaming like a school girl. :D

I guess you are no longer 70% Iron Man. (Super Hero Thread)

I bet even iron would deform with the weight of an 80 falling on it from 7 feet in the air. :flipoff2:

Less than 2.5 feet

Not 7 feet in the air you see ... :flipoff2: :D
