3d Printed Wiper Contact Covers

These covers are printed with a flexible filament with hardness Shore 40D. The flexible filament allows the cover to clip over the retaining ring on the contacts. There are some variation in the shape of covers due to printing with flex filament (See the picture below). I have used mine for a summer season and it seems to have held up to the summer heat.

I believe the last interaction with a mud member was actually a scam. They ordered the parts and then a day later asked for a refund because the motor they were working on finally failed. I have not sent the parts or returned the money since the member has gone MIA and has not responded to any of my messages. Member with zero posts/zero content. Upon further review... paypal payment contact information does match the shipping name and shipping address. Not sending the money received back less fees just yet but will ship the parts if they contact me again. I will hold on to the money for 6 months and then donate to charity.

For future orders I will do a better job checking the member history. Sucks that the scamming is happening everywhere including IH8MUD. I have had nothing but positive experiences on IH8MUD until now.

Good job for watching that stuff. It’s really sad that We have vendors who are openly scamming members, just look at the buyers beware threads.. Really sucks to watch good folks taken advantage of, buy parts and then get ghosted or harassed after asking where their items are months later.

I don't understand the scam. This person sent you money, asked for a refund, then ghosted before collecting the refund or giving you shipping info?

That has to be the worst scam in the history of scams
