ya i dont mind let me know when and were u want to do a meet and ill come out for sure
so after seeing the videos im thinking new tires lol would not mind a locker but i dont think i have enough time for that lol

Neil, we could do a quick meet in TO with maybe Matt/Cdncruizer, Nicholas/ROM and anyone else who wants to join if you want. maybe some beers and wings or whatever? if there's interest i'll post a thread on it.
i'm down for april 10/11 weekend! no matter what the wife says! lol.

you defenatly should get used to travelling in you truck in stock config before going out and upgrading.

stock trucks are very capaple, and a great platform to learn on how to trail ride
i had 235's on all last year and did lots of offroading

p.s, if you got a place to install new suspension, id be willing to install for you depending on a few things, like if a torch is available if you bushings are old and crusted. theres ways of working around not having a torch anyways..
i privately exchange my labour for credit on account or non-redeemable bank of canada notes ;)

i will be heading up the day before, are we up for the same trail as last year?
personally it had a lot of characteristics i like... everything, ice, snow, rock, steep down, steep up, side hill, mud, clay...
plus if the trail is real easy there are those off shoots we can explore.

i recommend every wheeler learn how to wheel stock and then modify. if you can wheel stock then your ability is based on capablility of the driver honed instincts instead of mechanical modification.
once you learn the basics of:
"picking a trail"
"threading the needle"
"sidehilling"
"whinching and recovery"
"throttle application, when and why and why not"
then you might modify what you THINK you need on your truck vs what you really need.

lol it was only when i was driving that he got stuck and couldn't self recover

well I got a little excited and traded away my shifts for the 10-11! hope that date works if not I will have to trade some more!

Romey I would be happy to have a little get together! post a thread and lets throw some dates around!

wildbj70 no need for lockers or big tires. half the fun is getting stuck! seeing what your limit is!

no stuck = boring to me!

looks like I will have to get up to the cottage before then and switch the winters out for the M/T's!

heading up on Friday afternoon like last time sounds good to me!

The dates work for me, I am hoping to head up Friday as well...caravan would be cool...Hopefully no surprises with the turbo and it all goes smooth...

how about meeting the same place as last year? around noon? drive up and grab a bite to eat then off to the camp?

Wayne, was that the lunch spot we met ut at perfect timing? tryin to think what intersection that was. i think we went there, then the gas station/mcdonalds in parry sound to meet dave and the crew then we convoyed up. whatever works.

Ok Matt April 10-11 it is. We will meet at McDonalds/Gas stations around noon on Friday as a group then head in. Are we going to have a base camp at the lake? I usually bring the trailer and a possible couple of others have trailers as well.

it was at the end of hunter valley road and 400, i think,..
this all works for me..

sounds good. so we have this finalized pretty much then? whoever can make it friday, final meet at mcD's in parry sound for gas up/groceries/lunch/etc.. everyone else can convoy from wherever to get there. base camp and/or have the option of camping on the trail? anyone else getting there later can meet us at base camp. i've yet to see the north trail, maybe do that on friday(?), southtrail it saturday and/or sunday, or whatever's clever, then home by sunday night...sound about right?!

so, are we still meeting at the end of hunter valley road and 400?
the rest sounds fine to me...

I like the sound of all that! I don't have the Friday off yet but no reason I shouldn't be able to trade it away.

maybe convoy from the Wendy's @ the bottom of the 400?

I am fine to camp at the lake again that was nice. or keep moving around.

Sounds like it's all coming together. I'll get it all down and sent out to club by the end
of the weekend.
Dave
