So just about a year after completing a manual swap on my 1992 FJ80, my wife totaled her 100 series so now I'm starting a 2UZ swap. The manual conversion was a great learning experience and has been a lot of fun driving but it doesn't compare to how the better drive train is going to do.

So what is for sale is the following:
1. H42 Tranny and split case out of a 1986 FJ60
2. 3F stamped bell housing
3. Master cylinder
4. Slave cylinder
5. Home-made clutch pedal bucket
6. Flywheel
7. Pressure plate/clutch disk
8. Newly modified driveshafts (shorter front/longer rear)

$800 for local pickup in the Denver area or $1000 shipped in the continental US.

This is everything you need to perform a manual swap on your early 80 for a REALLY good price. The driveshafts alone cost me almost $350 to get made.

All of this was done to prep for an eventual H55 swap so the H42 is a later model with the adapter plate on the back of it. It is the same length as an H55 so if you get to that point, it will be a direct fit/swap.

Thanks,
Nic

Holy crap that is a good deal, even if you just scrap the H42 and buy a new H55 to swap in.
Yeah, I'm definitely losing money on it but I don't want it lingering around my place any longer than it needs to be. I've got too much junk laying around already.
