Anyone know if the front door rollup glass from the really early 40 doors (not sure the year) will fit a '73 door? I have a set of old doors that have a different wing window set up and a narrower top window frame compared to the '73.

I was not sure because the measured glass opening is different between the two.
If you have the "bug catcher" style wing windows, I do not think the door glass will fit for the reasons you mentioned.

Thanks. Sounds like I got more stuff to put in the garage sale pile.
Post some pics of what you have. There are a 2 different bug catcher style doors, early and later model.

The best pic I have at the moment is attached. The bug catcher window on the older door has one hinge on the front of the glass that allows the window to tip outward rather than rotating on a center point like the '73 wing window. I can get better pics later in the week if someone is interested. The roll up glass on the older style door is about 1" longer than the '73.
