refugg disconnect the fluid level sensor and try it then. its a anturally open circuit so it should be an easy wayt o test the fluid reservoir sensor. after that it gets a little deeper.

Dan this thing gets sorta deep after a while, if the pedal switch was bad then you would need to over ride the shift lock out to get the truck in gear. At what point in the driving experience where the operator has ignored or defeated enough safety items do you "let Darwin take over" and let the dumb bastard experienced his own stupidity.
Then again you could make a case that the switch could fail after the truck was in gear, the brake's hydrolics completely fail after you safely got to the highway and then finally after pulling on the e-brake the truck would cancel the CC provided the switch on the e-brake lever hadn't failed sometime prior to this whole event.
Sounds like a scene from some B movie where some evil entity has it out for our hero.

Well I'd like to help you out but I don't have the EWD for a 93 which has just been verified to be wired differently than my 96. So any thoughts on what could be wrong from me would be speculation on my part and waste a whole lot more of your time than the few previous ramblings on the CC circuit.
If someone will post up the diagram I'd readily take a look at it and offer some opinions.
