What is the truck used for? If a mall queen...go for it.

If a rock crawler...may want to calculate weight gain up that high. This stuff can get heavy quickly (ceiling = large area).

If overist rig (over lander), weight is also a factor as that hobby is weight intensive. Toss up here.
Another thing to take into account is that for sound deadening panels (what Dynamat/other butyl product are meant for) you really only need 25% coverage of the panel. The butyl is just keeping the panel from resonating/vibrating at audible frequencies. You see folks do 100% coverage with Dynamat or the like all the time, but it's not really much (if any) gain over 25% coverage.

The layer of closed cell foam and them mass loaded vinyl after the Dynamat do need to have 100% coverage to be effective, but that's obviously a lot more work to accomplish.
