Hey guys, I know y'all are real painters :) but I thought somebody here might know...

I want to paint my glove box and gauge face in my 40. Does anyone know of a spray paint that won't look like chit in a year, and maybe even is available in a nice pewter/metalic grey color, instead of bright silver?

Thanks, and sorry for the dumb question.

Your local auto paint shop can mix up whatever color you want in a rattle can. It will be more expensive than the big box places, but should be closer to what you want.

On a different note, I've had good luck with the Rustoleum Professional cans. It sprays and lays down nicely. They have a stainless steel and aluminum color that might be close to what you want. Check the link below for colors.

Too damn long ago...God I hate getting old :D...I used to use epoxy rattle can paint. The local commercial paint supplier told me it wasn't available in a spray can; however since then Rusty_TLC told me they have it at Home Depot so you might try there. Its the toughest paint out of a rattle can that's for sure. Be sure to wear a suitable and proper respirator when using it...
