I know there where some guys using np200 parts in the np205 case to achieve the dual offset or dual rear outputs, for six wheeled vehicles and what not. just checkn to see if anyone managed to make it work correctly.
all i could get with np200 parts in a np205 case was low rang.
and that will not work for me.
so i did lots of research and got a shop to take the project of
making a shaft to allow the np205 to have dual offset outputs, thus allowing it to be used in my cummins fj80.
basicly its an extended offset shaft that carries the stock np205 gears and uses a np200 rear output bearing carrier to support the rear of the exstended shaft.
with this shaft part time 4wd will not be an option.
these will be heat treated and made by profesionals. i have no idea on the cost just kinda gauging intrest.
i know there are other tcase options with this conversion. im not interested in those. there is no reason why we cant run an atlas or a np205 in a vehicle that has offset pumpkins.
cheers,
Weston
