I called a local Toyota dealer with a vin I found for a 1997 Land Cruiser, but they came back with 3 different ones for the driveshaft to axle bolts!
I swapped some FZJ 80 axles into a rig and would like to use the OEM bolts, washers and nuts for the axle to driveshaft connections.
Rear is 11mm, front is 10mm from my findings, but can't find any oem part numbers.
I called a couple of aftermarket Toyota places, but I guess they dont like to return calls.

Thanks!
Martin

Try here: PartSouq Auto Parts Around the World

9010511014, Bolt, (Qty ?) (Not available)
9020111013 Washer, (Qty 8)
9017911005 Nut (Qty 8)

Plug in the 1997 VIN you have on this site if you need to. (www.partsouq.com)

That was EXACTLY what I was looking for, thank you.
Called my local dealer, and they'll have them in the morning for me. Quicker than shipping from anywhere, and they answer the darn phone!
This is what the axles are under, thus why I couldn't give them MY vin.......rofl
Thanks again

Bad call.

90105-11H00 Comes as a kit: one bolt, one washer, one nut. About 50% cheaper than getting the part numbers separately. You need 8 of these.

:meh:

Why is it that YOU can find this stuff in the Toyota System when other dealers cannot?

Is it because of your special training (seriously) or is it that they are just stupid? Since I have worked behind the counter (LOTS of years ago!...Not Toyota) I believe I have a better understanding than most, but I cannot seem to get it across to local dealer monkeys how to find something. It seems EVERYTHING is "not available".....

Thank you for the clarification on the part numbers!

My dealer got the parts in next morning, $64 out the door. Yeah, expensive for 8 bolts etc, but worth it to me.
When I called them, with a vin, they gave me @4 options for the bolts. I had zero idea....lol

This is mind blowing to me. I just ordered all these bolts this morning and went through hell trying to find the part numbers. Who would of thought there would be a thread detailing them on the second page of this forum. I paid $34 out the door from the local dealer for all the nut, bolts and washers sepretely.

Just a tip for all you guys, when you call the dealership to get parts ask the receptionist for "wholesale parts" instead of parts. Just pick some small dealership about 20-30 miles away that they aren't on a first name basis with but have in their system. Tell them you work there and you need some stuff for your personal car and you'll pay with a credit card over the phone and pick them up at will call sometime. You'll get much better pricing and most likely won't pay tax.

@NLXTACY question- I have the kit for the front from you but is there any benefit for using a smaller bolt/nut?

I ask since I just did pulled my front off and they are 14mm. I haven’t busted open the baggie yet but I am curious. Thanks

OEM DS hardware is 10mm front and 11mm rear. If you have 14mm bolts on your driveshaft yolk flanges then it’s not only aftermarket but someone spent a lot of time replacing and modifying. Are you sure you don’t mean 14mm hex head?

I’m in the same boat. I am having my front driftshaft rebuilt and want to replace the hardware with new OEM nuts/bolts/washers. Everything I just removed was 14mm and appears OEM. Is this supposed to be 10mm????

No no, the threads are 10mm for front and 11mm for rear. 14mm hex head either way.

ALL bolts are measured by their diameter and thread pitch, NOT the wrench size it takes to turn them. Head sizes can vary for the same "bolt size".

The LENGTH of the bolts are measured from the BOTTOM of the head to the end of the bolt, NOT from tip to tip.

(There are exceptions based on head type, but for the bolts and cap screws in this conversation, let's keep it clear)

I had to edit the rear size. I wrote 12 but it’s 11mm
Last point of clarification. When you say “rear,” are you referencing the rear driveshaft bolts being 11mm, or the rear flange of the front driveshaft (transfer case side of the front DS)?
