Howdy! Good chance it is a Toy mini CV. They are pretty common. Don't know about rebuilding the center, but I take my DS work to a specialty shop. One look, and the lady at the counter can tell me what's wrong, how to fix, how soon, and how much$$$$. I am running custom DS with CV's on both ends. I let the pro's do it. John

called toyota abouth the cv centering repair kit....$310...how do they sleep at night so i called rockford drive line in ILL they have it for $25..guess where im going...lol, I was shocked that they could charge that much for this item...and its not even a major part....so i politly told the guy to go get bent..and have a nice day

the folks at rockford knew what i was talking about, there are 2 sizes toyota used so i have to measure it and then order it. how the build comming, havent seen any updated pics?

65fj40, when you get the CV apart please post up to let me know if you find a hole in the bottom of your ball joint seat as I did. See my thread to know what I am talking about. https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.p...ing+driveshaft

I am happy to report my rebuilt driveshaft has been working great and completed the trip to Rausch Creek last week for a weekend of 4wheeling without issue. I am making certain I keep my new joints full of Mobil1 grease so I don't have to go through the process again soon.

ill get some pics of it taken apart and of the new part. I thought a BFH would work but wore myself out..time to go to the press. im dropping it off tonight so hopefully ill have tomorrow evening. youd think something so simple looking could be such a PITA...

I blasted both of mine at different times and had Drivelind Tech & fabrication make a couple of new ones for me. That was over a year ago and they are or seem to be bullet proof. All OME parts and was half the price of anyone in my area. Did everything by phone. His email is brian@drivelinetech.com He is in Portland
