Nice draw Dave. Its pretty hard to get into Kaibab. I did get my first big game from that unit many moons ago. At least your going in Oct so you won't freeze too hard

I remember fall turkey hunts (early Oct) with snow on the ground and late Nov elk hunts wearing a Tee shirt in the afternoon. I remember one fall turkey hunt (mid nineties) that is was so windy the flames from the fire were going sideways. It was also cold and snowing. First and last time the wife went along on any hunt.

Also the boss just called me today, his was dinged $300, after 45 years he finally scored a sheep tag (what are the odds?)
