drag link/ relay rod

i know i probably sound like a total nube here, but is a drag link the same as a relay rod?
 
Short answer: Yes.

Toyota calls it a relay rod, so that is the official name. Many folks use the term drag link to refer to this part, though.

Therefore: relay rod = drag link

(No prob on being a nube. Us nubes are all over the place!)

depends on what model cruiser, on 40, 45, 55 the relay rod is between the center arm and steering box, drag link is from the center arm to the tie rod

that's how I've referred to them as, I could be wrong tho

Good catch, 3_pups! The 40 series are definitely set up differently. I assumed that the discussion had to do with a 60 series because this is the 60 series board.
