PO put a saginaw gear box, 5 1/2" pitman arm, and all Heim joints with no TRE's. I couldn't turn it to the bump stops so I got a 7" pitman arm off of an old Wagoneer but it has a bigger hole on the drag link side and its tappered, old one wasn't. Old one just had a bolt through the heim joint. A bolt wont work with this bigger taper. I would like to put a TRE on, and I got the TRE from the Wagoneer, but it wont fit in my 3/4 inch drag link because it is 7/8 inch. I looked through the Moog book but the only thing close was a MOOG ES375R TRE which had the right taper for the pitman arm, and 3/4"X16L threads that would fit my drag link, but it was offset instead of straight, and it was like $58 bucks. How are you guys doing it? Do I need to have a custom made drag link? My steering arms are off of a mini truck I think......
