I should be letting Brian share the pics but...I just couldn't stop myself.

The project started at the HAMOM I hosted to tear down the 45, being the slow to move fabricator that I am, it took another 2 trips to the house to get it complete. Well, Brian is still on the hook to primer/paint but the main part is done. I still have to finish the cooler/jerry can design which is something I'll be needing to get some more material to do.

Bottom line is Brian is happy with it and so am I. It came out how I had planned with some changes due to feedback from Ramon, Johnny and others, thanks for contributing to the process.

Enough talk, pics tell the picture much better...

No I'm glad you did. It would probably take me a few days before I posted them anyway...

I'm just glad that we found out that the flex is coming from the two missing bolts from Luke's bumper (they've been hanging out in a paperbag in my center console since after the HAMOM at Darin's!)

Should be all primed and painted for the Meet and Greet!

Good stuff fellas. I need to get my rear in gear and do something on Emma's truck.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate it. Gotta love the overuse of gussets w/speed holes. Its what happens when one gets a new set of tools and can't wait to find an excuse to use them.

I've got to order some smaller diameter tubing to do the cooler/jerry can carrier so I can complete the whole thing. I'm thinking some 1" with 1/8" plate supports between the "hoops" with a hole or two in the plate...:hhmm:

That looks SHARP!!! Well done.

I think we should have Cirbo and Jerry do a build off for something on their 45s. The 2 of them can fabricate some wicked stuff!

Thanks Josh. Jim knows what he's doing, I'm learning and finding out what I'm doing. Jim and I are going in different directions on our 45 builds, I think. I've got so much rust repair that I'm not going to be doing a "restoration", more of a "resto-mod" with plenty of room for the "mod" part.

I just hope to have a functional vehicle when all things are said and done, if I can give it a bit of "cool" factor, I'll be even more pleased...
