I did a search and found the moog u-joint number I believe for the double cardan on the front shaft, (#513). Does anyone have the Matsuba part numbers for the u-joints and or kit that includes the ball and needle bearings?

wondering why you need them. It's rare to wear out a front driveshaft unless it's on a buggy. On average I'd say the rear lasts 200,000 miles.
A front in a normal daily driver sees about twenty times less the miles. I've pulled front shafts off 40's and 60's with 250,000 miles on the truck
and reused them on the rear for another 5 years. Unless they were never greased and used in a wet environment they're hard to wear out. same with the front diffs

The front u-joint in the double cardan joint needs to be replaced, he wanted both and the ball replaced with factory parts, you can't get them. From what I've learned Matsuba makes Toyota's joints so that's why I'm asking. If its going to be replaced its going to be with the best parts available. This LC was his brothers who is deceased now, also my uncle, it will be in our family probably a lot longer then I'll be alive and will be past on for who knows how long. If all we can get are Moog u-joints then that's what will go back in.

High Angle Driveline has the Matsuba U-Joints for the DC for $42 each. Just FYI.

Thanks man, finally found that out after lots of searching and even got the part number wrote down. But not until I had already put the Precision 513s in.:censor:

But on the bright side if you need to do em again, you know where to get them. :-)

Lol, now your rite there. One day someone will need the part number and I'll be able to help, think its 236, haven't got my note book with me to confirm.

If you wouldn't mind posting the part # when you get around your notes.

Be nice to be able to check other places for prices.

You wouldn't happen to know of anyplace that sells the Joint Fuji 8" FJ80 slip joints other than All-Pro Off road would you?

They have them for $299, was wondering if anyone else might have better prices. :)

Naw man, I don't. Have you tried NAPA, might get lucky. Have you asked Georg @ Valley Hybrids @orangefj45

No worries, thought I'd ask just in case.
But asking Georg is an excellent idea. Should have thought of that myself! Lol

Yea, he's a good dude. He's been busy lately, tried to get him on here a few days ago but was unable to, probably have to call him.

Dragging up an old thread, are parts still available to rebuild or replace the CV ball? The Rockford Driveline links I’ve found no longer work, I can’t find it in Napa Online, I haven’t seen any part numbers anywhere for those parts even when people said they were available.

I want to source a pair of CV driveshafts but these trucks aren’t getting any younger and I’m not sure I want to buy used if parts are already discontinued.
