Hello all.... I have an issue with 3 of the 4 door handles. All 3 began sticking and it's hard to open the doors. When I open the door, the handle stays out/up and I have to hit it in order for the door to close. It seems it need lubrication... but where???

Please advice...

If you look under the handle after pulling it up. You might see cracks in the metal under there. When mine have broken I have found cracks in that area allowing flex and causing the mechanism to bind.

Other wise you'll need to pull the inside door panel, leave the plastic liner intact by carefully pulling it away or cutting so that you can re tape the hole. Get in there and lube it up and/or check the adjustments on the internal links.

I've had two do this to me now. Both times it ended in the handle breaking off. They stress out with age and use and the metal eventually fatigues and cracks and eventually breaks off entirely.

I'd pull the door panels and give them a good inspection and spray some lithium-based aerosol lubricant on all the joints.

IIRC they are around $40 or so each to get new OEM ones. You can get the cheap aftermarket ones for about $20 but those aren't worth the material they're made out of.

Well the two back doors did this exact same thing. All I did was lube the handles a lot, with penatrating oil and WD-40. It took about a week, but they are perfect two years later.
