i think i just figured out the major downfall of that plan......windows. I dont think that would leave enough room for them to fully lower.

the windows will be close, I'd check it out first, and you have to think of stepover height too. It looks like you're lifted running bigger tires, and you and your passengers will have to step over what ever you weld solid. My wife would hate it, she doesn't even like climbing into my Yukon and it's only got a leveling kit on it.

Great pics kling-on. I'm glad there's a way to fit my sliders in without going the body lift approach.

hey Mor, what if you built half doors. I think it was brokenparts that built some pretty sweet half doors. Basically serves the same thing you are looking for being able to not run a full door without all yoru sh*& sliding out when you are off camber....

now what im thinking about is taking it a step further and cutting the doors where i have this black line. Below the line I would weld up solid, and above the door would be like a normal door. Then the whole lower part could be either protected with some tubing or plated with some heavier steel to act as a slider. ideas? questions? concerns?

making the B piller work goin to be hard ... but nothin a welder and cuting torch cant fix :meh:

do it I want to copy it after you do .... but I tell you what I hit the TOP of my rear door not the bottom and I would cry if I crushed one after that muck work :crybaby:

also the lower hindge is to low for that
