Hey all, I have a tear in my 92 hzj73 and am curious if door cards are still available from Toyota? Thought I would reach out and see first, before going down the rabbit hole.

Turns out I was drinking and ordering parts and ended up with two extra sets of different 70 series gray door cards. One is for a 2009 HZJ79 and the other should fit a 73. Message me if you’re interested.

You can’t get that style anymore. At least not new. They come up used on yahoo auctions.
I had those but I replaced them with ones I like more. See below. These are for power windows and power locks but don’t wrap over the top.

I got them through Dave Stedman. He is your man.
The pictures don't show it, but there is a bit more involved if you use those new cards that I got. Due to the absence of all that wrap over the top stuff, you have to get some extra stuff as well to tie it all in together.

@FJ73Texas and I both went down that path on our 77's. The ZX style door cards have not been made for decades. These are the ones with the wrap around top piece that fits into the window trim at the top.
You really have two options:
- go with the new style trim that does not wrap around at the top. You will need to make sure your white surround metal looks good, as it will be exposed now.
- camp Yahoo Auctions Japan and get some used ones shipped over. The ZX style that you want rarely come up. I bought the last set that was on there for around $200/ea including shipping.

There are perhaps advantages to this route. The “One Stone” armrest / cup holder combo will now easily attach to the metal door top and if there are blemishes, the armrest will cover the majority. Not that the average 70 Series owner needs more cupholders.

There are pros and cons to the wrap around style.
The @sleepydad69 door cards are probably going to be killer once he gets them dialed in.
The whole wrap around the top door card thing is more of a 70 series Prado thing that got carried over to the ZX heavy duty models only it seems like. There is a reason why it doesn't exist anymore for any 70 series (and hasn't for a long time) I am sure. It could be cost or quality issues related to the design, who knows?

Where can I get that floor mat?!
Peter Sachs at the custom mat co made them for me. Not cheap but probably the best floor mat set I ever had in the cruiser as far as looks and wear/tear durability combined.
