I'm seeing the new GX everywhere. I serviced my LX the other day there were 4 of them in the new car delivery bays. The GX is very compelling. And for not much savings you can have a Landcruiser 250 which feels like it's $30,000 cheaper. At least the 200s the Toyota didn't feel like a massive downgrade compared to the Lexus sibling.

People want nice things for their money.

Is the the goal of this thread to make new members of the Land Cruiser community feel s***ty about their not-cheap investment in a new 250 or GX? Because if it is, you guys are doing a hell of a job.

I'm afraid that I was left out of the thread-goals planning committee. I am quite upset, feel left out, and lacking guidance, thus having to resort to hurtful facts at the cost of participation ribbon awards.

To avoid further confusion I humbly request that all future threads go through a peer voting process to establish their formal goals, acceptance criteria, stakeholders, timelines, and an agreement on desired quality. You know... the things Toyota didn't do with the LC250.

They are out there. Gotta keep that bimbo happy with the latest and greatest shiny-squared-tonka-toy thingy on the road. I am lucky mine is perfectly happy with her 5th gen runner.

Mine wanted a first gen Sequoia but I made her drive a GX460.

TBH, I really liked the 1st gen Sequoia too, and almost bought one, but I wanted something a bit smaller
