This is the one I’d run. Gets solid reviews.

Pay attention to the size and CFM rating. I have always like the idea of these things. A lot of gear heads will poo poo this as an additional air flow restriction. That's probably not wrong but we are talking about a Tank not a Ferrari. Use case matters. I would think that they are also loud as far as wind noise cruising down the highway. Again, use case matters.

I am currently installing a Fabulous Fabrication snorkel and which has an issue with water running up the snorkel during rain and high speed. Their solution is a a rubber o-ring placed on the tube at the top to dam up the water and allow the wind to blow it away rather than up to the inlet where it gets sucked in. These cyclones would probably solve that issue as well as ne less likely to ice up in snow.

Yeah, it says that the 9001 is for 4.8L engines and under
I have the Sy-Klone Series 9001 Pre-Cleaner with a Safari Snorkel and love the intake noise when the windows are down.

I guess if you don't go to maximum throttle, you wouldn't notice the engine probably isn't getting enough air.

When I worked at ARB, we sold Donaldson precleaners in 7" and 10" body sizes, the 10" being for bigger engines, to fit on snorkels at that time. I don't think those fit the newer Safari Snorkels which now use a bigger diameter inlet where the head would attach. It was 3.5" from memory.

Interesting point on the CFM rating. I'll have to check if mine is the 9001 or the 9001r. Looks like the r should work given that its designed for larger engines.
