Does anyone know when the 2020 Heritage Edition will actually hit dealers?

I am sorta thinking about getting one, but not really, but want to know anyway.

I ordered mine on 9/3/2019. Waiting to see when and if it will be allocated.

I spoke to a dealer today about this just this morning and he said they should be getting one in about 30 days. But I take that with a grain of salt. I won't believe it until I actually see it on the lot.

I thought the transmission was different, interior & exterior styling was slightly different as were some of the features like toyota safety, auto cruise control, etc...

My dealer received the VIN and build sheet for mine last week, production date is 9/23 and it is supposed to be delivered (to the port in USA, I assume) on 10/10. I’m guessing I’ll see it by the end of October at the latest.

I ordered my heritage in early August. It arrived at port in California on September 4th. Next it goes thru customs, then quality control, then shipped by rail to my dealer. My dealer expects it to arrive in late September or 1st week of October.

Also, it is technically a slightly different build from previous years so the quality control could be more rigorous and take more time according to dealer. The new badges apparently take some time to inspect....

If you are in the list or waiting for one of the first probably October-December.

Not certain about more rigorous inspection for the HE, but it is a great sales pitch.

LC's go through a significant inspection prior to leaving the plant, it is just what they do there.

In general foreign produced cars take a while to enter the country and be released to the railhead for distribution, just the nature of logistics etc. Dealers have little insight and less say when they arrive.

I doubt anyone will be seeing them in dealers inventories, as they are fulfilling sold order requests still. We have already gone through two 2020 Japanese allocations (7/1 and 8/1) and I have my first of three coming in 2 weeks (build thread to come). The 2nd/3rd will be here by end of Oct (another build thread coming on one of those soon too). I have five more to fulfill after these three. Since there are 1200 total made spread out over the whole year, anyone serious will need to be proactive. I am certain some of mine will back out as they always do, so I expect to have a few more to distribute over the next 10 months.

What's the distribution color wise? Is the black getting the lions share? I still haven't seen any pictures of the white. Which is the one I'd get. Black is to high maintenance for Houston weather. Been there done that. Would really love it in silver, but I guess they just picked the two most popular colors.

I started the process of contacting dealers near the time of announcement of the Heritage.
One dealer got back to me within minutes.
Production date 9/4, actual date.
9/12 Vessel Departure, 9/25 Vessel arrival.

I ordered mine in white.

Me too. One thing that always makes me hesitate when I think about getting a newer one is that we dig our amazon green 200. That, and the fact that it is $90K and basically the same vehicle... :)
