Does Anybody Know how to get/trap a squirrel out of the attic? (1 Viewer)

As the title says...

this is not at my house. A friend has a squirrel that has taken over his attic and was asking for advice on how to get rid of it. Will a rodent trap work? Poison? Enchiladas from Taco Bell?

Hi. Had this problem too many times myself. They will come out each morning for food and water. That's when you need to find the hole or holes and close them up. Metal probably for awhile, they will chew right through new shingles. Mike

Agree with the above post. That's how I solved a squirrell problem at the old house. I was lucky to be able to hear them coming and going, so when they went, I patched the hole. Done.
